I've never seen Veronica Falls, although I've listened to them alot. They have a single out very soon (perhaps even now) on the wonderful Captured Tracks; home to any number of awesome bands, that various blogs are going mad about.
Hailing from Glasgow/London and assembled from the remnants of Sexy Kids, The Royal We and Your Twenties; Veronica Falls nail that glorious indie-pop thing that Scottish dudes seem to do so well, all submerged beneath a Virgin Suicides-y haze. I'm sure I'm not alone in thinking that everyone on Captured Tracks seems to have a similarly ghostly quality, but I'm not complaining. Anyway, they support Vivian Girls at The Deaf Institute on Sunday 17th January.
