So we're going to be doing a-lot more live shows at Trof Northern Quarter over the autumn and there's some total humdingers! First up on 15th September is the rather wonderful Trouble Books, purveyors of haphazard synthony (new genre I just made up). 22nd September is a bit of a coup really; the totally amazing Ducktails backed by the equally amazing Spectrals. Matt Ducktails has toured the world and beyond over the last year with his other band Real Estate, who've played a couple of times at The Deaf Institute. Very excited about this!
Our friends Comfortable On A Tightrope return with a killer double bill featuring Grass Widow and Trash Kit on 4th October... the tightropers will also be starting a brand new regular weekly disco, so keep your eyes peeled for that!
7th October, Ash who works at the Deaf Institute is putting on a couple of great bands... The Beets from the USA and Brown Brogues from Wigan... an equally exciting band, albeit from a slightly less glamorous place!
