Jack & Ruth’s Troffice Playlist

I Touch Myself = The Divinyls
Apart from the purple one, we reckon this was the highlight of the Prince Night last month. The first from this month’s playlist that you might not want to play your mum.

What What (In The Butt) = Samwell
Trof’s maintenance genius James loves this song. Bizarre and weird but stupidly catchy. Search youtube to see the disturbing video.

Skeleton = Abe Vigoda
Awesome closer from last year’s Skeleton album. They’re playing the Deaf Institute on May 14th with The Mae Shi. Come!

Zero = Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Standout track from their ace new album.

Havai = Babe Terror
Truly original ambient soundscapes from Brazil. He’s giving away his album free on Myspace. Like Radiohead, although he can’t afford to do it and he’s good.

Ship Of Love = Dum Dum Girls
For fans of Vivian Girls, Crystal Stilts and this C86 revival. Not sure what this is from, but the debut album is out soon on Art Fag Records.

Hip Priest = The Fall
Yeah he does gigs where he sings from the dressing room, sat in a whee chair but he’s still a genius.

Cartoon Beginning = Eat Skull

A really perfect noisy pop song.

It Came From The Ground = Badly Drawn Boy

How is it 9 years since this came out? So great... Must resist saying ‘What went wrong?’ D’oh!
